Psychometric testing

SHL is the world leader in objective assessment in the workplace. SHL has been studying the science of psychometrics for 25 years. As SHL Partners Mercury are able to carry out both ability assessment and Personality profiling. Carried out at our own Assessment Centre by our in-house Occupational Psychologist these tools provide you with valuable insights beyond the interview to validate your choice of Candidate in terms of personality and character traits. Assessments may be completed prior to interview, before the final offer is made or as a development tool with existing staff.

Targetted Testing

Test types include verbal, numercial and spatial reasoning, accuracy and checking aptitude, mechanical reasoning and manual dexterity. Moreover tests are targeted at different roles and levels including semi-skilled, technical, admin and sales / customer service staff; as well as management and professsionals.

Job profile analysis

Taking the psychometric testing a step further Mercury are able to asses Candidates against your specific job profile rather than the usual normalised standards. This more detailed study may provide a valuable insight into likely behaviours in specific roles or circumstances.
